Cullinan, 52, Advertising Executive, Dies Basking Ridge--Richard A. Cullinan, 52, of 160 Spencer Road, died yesterday (March 12, 1961) in Morristown Memorial Hospital after a short illness. He was executive vice president of Albert Frank-Guenther Law Inc. of New York, a national advertising and public relations agency. Mr. Cullinan joined the agency at its New York headquarters in 1929. He was elected vice president in 1949 and a member of the four-man executive committee last year. Mr. Cullinan moved here three years ago from Plainfield, where he was born. He was a graudate of Plainfield High School and was a member of the Basking Ridge Presbyterian Church. He was active in Boy Scouting and was a charter member of Flint and Steel, a senior scouting organization of the Watchung Area Council, B.S.A. He served in the Rainbow Division in World War 2. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Kishpaugh Cullinan; two daughters, Kathleen M. and Jane A., at home; his mother, Mrs. Jessie A. Cullinan of Plainfield, and a sister, Mrs. Elsie C. Laird of Dunellen. Services will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. in the Presbyterian Church here. Friends may call at the Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. tomorrow. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Bernards Township Rescue Squad.
