Lebanon Daily News; Lebanon PA; 2006-1-31 Richard S. Kishpaugh, 85, Elizabethtown, formerly of Stroudsburg, died on Monday, January 30, at the Masonic Villages in Elizabethtown, Pa. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Doris (Siptroth) Kishpaugh who died in 1992, and also the late Clementine (Hartman) Kishpaugh who died in 1997. Born on December 13, 1920, in Stroudsburg, he was the son of the late Nathan F. and Leila (Abel) Kishpaugh. He was a member of the East Stroudsburg United Methodist Church. He worked for 24 years for J.C. Penney's and then was the divisional merchandise manager for A.B. Wyckoff's for 20 years. He was a 5-year member of Barger Lodge No. 325, a 32nd degree Mason of Consistory in Scranton, Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Pocono Forest Lodge No. 124 and High Twelve No. 686. He is survived by a daughter, Judith A. Kennedy and her husband Neal, Schnecksville; a son, Jack R. Kishpaugh and his wife Dea Amy, Lebanon; five grandsons; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Jean Stenlake and her husband, Robert, Seneca Falls, N.Y.; a stepbrother, Harold Hosier and his wife, Mary, Winterhaven, Fla.; a step-sister, Viva Overfield, Scottsdale, Ariz.; a stepson, Stuart Mader, Myrtle Beach, S.C.; a cousin, Pamela Miller and his husband Jack, Elizabethtown; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2006, at 1 p.m. from the Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North Fifth Street, Stroudsburg, with the Rev. Edward Kimes officiating. Burial will take place following the service in Stroudsburg Cenetery. There will be no viewing.
