Hamilton (OH) Journal News, Wednesday, January 16, 2002 - Molly Lakes Molly A. Lakes, age 66, of Hanover Township, passed away in Hospice of Cincinnati at Sunrise Assisted Living, Monday, January 14, 2002, at 7:40 p.m. She was born in Hamilton, on April 3, 1935, the daughter of Raymond and Frances (Smith) Miller. Molly was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ross. On August 25, 1951, in Millville, Ohio, she married James R. Lakes who preceded her in death in 1998. She is survived by her mother, Frances Miller of Hamilton; three sons, James R. and his wife Debbie Lakes of Hamilton, Allen and his wife Pam Lakes of Hamilton and Kenneth and his wife Noel Lakes of Hamilton; one daughter, Peggy and her husband Bill Turner of Hamilton; one brother, Gerald Miller of Hamilton; seven grandchildren, Allen Jr. (Sharon) Lakes, John Lakes, Jimmy Jr. and Steven Lakes, Drew Korb, Christy and Joshua Turner; and four great-grandchildren, Jacob Moore, Tyler, Dylan and Blake Lakes. She was preceded in death by her father Raymond Miller. Funeral services will be held at the Brown Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Friday, January 18, 2002, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Marvin Sams, Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Ross, officiating. Burial will be in Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday, January 17, 2002, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt appreciation to her many special friends, to the staff of 5 Main of Ft. Hamilton Hospital, to Dr. Krall and his staff and to the staff of Hospice of Cincinnati for their loving care and concern.
