Elizabeth Kutger and Frank Schick were married on August 12, 1939, at St. Mary's Church. Anna Erlwein attended her sister as Matron of Honor and Albert Schick was best man for his brother. Flowergirls were Hildegard Newman (Bury) and Joan Newman (Walter). All attendants were guests at the open house. Elizabeth and Frank are the parents of Rita Kolbe, Anita Robertson, Paul Schick, Theresa Schick, Frances DeSenso and Elizabeth Olmstead. They also have nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Following the open house, Father Louis Foley, O.F.M., and Deacon Lawrence Knack celebrated Mass in their honor at which time they renewed their wedding vows. A Papal Blessing was read. Many of the guests attended Mass at which their daughter, Elizabeth, sang several solos in their honor. "Frank" Schick of Obernburg, a retired automobile mechanic with 40 years service at the former Mootz and Steinhauser Garage in Callicoon Center, died Wednesday, April 2, 1997, in Lady Lake, Fla. he was 83 years of age. The son of the late Anthony and Josephine Kille Schick, he was born December 8, 1913, in Obernburg. He was the widower of Elizabeth Kutger Schick. Mr. Schick was a member of St. Mary's Church and its Holy Name Society, both in Obernburg. He was also a member of the North Branch Fire Department, a former councilman for the Town of Fremont and a member of the Calicoon Center Scheutzen Verein. He is survived by five daughters, Rita Kolbe of Callicoon, Anita Robertson of Roscoe, Theresa Schick of Tarrytown, Frances DiSenso of Chelmsford, Mass., and Betsi Olmstead of East Stroudsburg, Pa.; a son, Paul Schick of Middletown; two brothers, Albert Schick of Obernburg and Larry Schick of Bethel; two sisters, Anna Dirie of Livingston Manor and Margaret Peake of Fremont Center; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a step-great-grandchild; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Anthony J. Schick. Friends may call at the Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home in Callicoon on Saturday and Sunday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday evening. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Church in Obernburg with the Rev. John Richardson officiating. Burial will be made in St. Mary's Cemetery in Obernburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Church, Obernburg, N.Y. 12767; to the American Heart Association, P.O.
