William was born on July 13, 1893 in Fremont, Sullivan County, New York
and married Alice Mae Crowley on June 21, 1916 in Callicoon Center,
Sullivan County.  William was baptized on October 29, 1893 in Mileses,
Sullivan County.  Alice was born on November 6 in 1895 (according to her
gravestone and in a letter she wrote) or in 1896 (according to her death
certificate) in Long Eddy, Sullivan County and is the daughter of Dennis
Crowley (March 29, 1869 - November 11, 1938) and Leila (or Lila or Laila
... the latter name was written in a letter by Leila's daughter) Esther
(or Ester) Wood (May 13, 1873 - April 19, 1950).  Alice died on September
17, 1973 at the Hamilton Avenue Hospital in Monticello, Sullivan County.
William died on July 9, 1975 at the Hamilton Avenue Hospital.  Both are
buried in Rock Ridge Cemetery in Monticello.

Dennis Crowley is the son of Matthew Crowley (died about 1878) and Catherine
Flynn (born about 1845).  Leila Esther Wood is the daughter of William Wood
and Elizabeth Lewis (about 1845 - April 6, 1916).
