Lillian F. Long, wife of Joseph Moser, died at her home in Liberty Saturday,
April 17, after a lingering illness. The funeral service was held at
Holy Cross church, Callicoon, Tuesday morning, and burial was there by
Undertaker Kelley.

Mrs. Moser was born in Beechwoods 50 years ago, a daughter of Peter Long
and Louise Nichols. She taught school in her young womanhood and several
years after her marriage to Mr. Moser of Callicoon Center. They moved a
couple of years ago to Liberty, where he is employed in the Mauer meat market.

She leaves besides her husband a daughter, Rita, nurse in the Liberty
hospital and who was recently married to Leo Kelly of Liberty, whose
brother, Ensign Thomas Kelly, was recently killed in the Pacific; a son,
Joseph, attending state teachers college at New Paltz, and two sisters --
Mrs. Elizabeth Boyle of Beechwoods and Mrs. Frank Moorehead of New York city.
