She was 88 years old. The daughter of the late Nial Delamater and Margaret Steinhauer Delamater, she was born May 24, 1935 in Liberty, NY. She was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Isham Van Keuren, “Van”, and her son, Paul Van Keuren. In addition to residing in their Wallkill home for 60 years, they spent 20 years wintering in Bonita Springs, Florida. Louise was a retired registered nurse earning her degree at Harpur College in Binghamton in nursing and later SUNY Oneonta in education. Her 40 year career included St. Luke’s Hospital in Newburgh, substitute teacher and school nurse for the Wallkill Central School District, and nurse director at ARC Greater Hudson Valley. Also, Louise and Van operated a real estate venture for many years. Louise's pastimes included gardening, nutrition and cooking, aquasize and researching investment opportunities. She is survived by her children: Kim Van Keuren (Timothy Murphy), Richard Van Keuren (Lindsay), Pamela Van Keuren (Diane Wormser), and Donna Egan (Joseph). Louise was the grandmother of Brendan, Niall, Connor, Anna, Grace, Devin, and Clare, and the great-grandmother of Rosemary and Harper, and siblings James Delamater and Linda Delamater Parks (Curtis).
