(Wilcox) Hinman, 79, of 860 Old Vestal Rd., Vestal, died Saturday, at her home. She is survived by 1 daughter, Mrs. Dorothy M. Chantry, Conklin, 1 step-son, Donald Hinman, Ithaca, 1 sister, Catherine Howell, J.C., 5 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren. She was employed for many years as Town Clerk for the Town of Fenton. She was an active member of the Broome County Women's Republican Club and Broome County Home Demonstration. Funeral and committal services will be held Monday at 11 a.m., from the Wm. R. Chase & Son, Inc Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St., Port Dickinson, with Rev. Edward Ellmore of the Conklin Avenue First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Port Crane Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home, today from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Those wishing may make memorial contributions to the Broome County Heart Fund.
