Katherine C. Howell of Johnson City
  Mrs. Katherine C. Howell, 63, of 278 Burbank Ave., Johnson City, died
Tuesday at 10:50 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.  She is survived by
her husband, Ralph Howell, Johnson City; her daughter, Mrs. Linda Sleeper,
Baldwinsville, N.Y.; three granddaughters and a niece.  She was a member
of the Blessed Sacrament Church of Johnson City and the Women's Guild of
the Church.
  Funeral Services will be held Friday at 9 a.m. at the Barber Memorial
Home, Inc., 428 Main St., Johnson City, and at 9:30 a.m. at the Blessed
Sacrament Church, where the Mass of Christian Burial will be offered.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at
the Barber Memorial Home Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Donations may be made
to the American Cancer Society.
