Edna Elizabeth Brieger was born 5 March 1890 in Dushore, Sullivan County,
Pennsylvania. On 10 January 1908 in Meehan Junction, Lauderdale County,
Mississippi she married Nicklos Smuts Loftus born 6 November 1886 as the son
of William Loftus and Helena Smuts of Cape Colony, South Africa. Nicklos
died 15 December 1943 in Dekalb, Newton County Mississippi. Edna died 3
December 1976 in Carrier, Pearl River County, Mississippi. Both are interred
at Sartenville, Walthall County, Mississippi.

              Smith County, Mississippi. She did not marry and lives in
              Gulfport, Harrison County, Mississippi.

              According to Helena, daughter of Nick and Edna. One of their
              children was still born.  She does not have a record of the
              date or a possible name just remembers it.  Her daughter
              insisted there were eleven children even though she could
              not give any statistics.
