transcription of Newspapers->Marriages->7.28.jpg From a local newspaper in June of 1911: BEGIN Gallagher--Kitz St. Peters church, Monticello, June 14th, was the scene of a very pretty wedding when Mr. Thomas F. Gallagher and Miss Clara Kitz, both of Mongaup Valley, were united in marriage with a nuptial Mass, Rev. Father Mearns, pastor, officiating. The bride was becomingly attired in a tailor made suit of gray cloth and large picture hat and carried a white prayer book. The groom wore the convential black. The couple was attended by Mr. and Mrs. Wm Daucher, sister and brother-in-law of the bride. After the ceremony the bridal party consisting of the immediate relatives of the contracting parties were driven in automobiles to the home of the bride's sister, where a sumptuous breakfast was served after which they were driven to the O. & W. depot where they took the 9:30 train for New York city and other places of interest. On their return on Monday evening, June 19, a reception was tendered them at the bride's home, Mongaup Valley, more than a hundred guests participating. Dancing was indulged to the strains of excellent music. At 12 o'clock the guests were summoned to the dining room where a bountiful supper was served. The esteem in which the couple were held was made evident by the many handsome and beautiful gifts received. The guests from out of town were Mrs. John Kissinger of Port Jervis, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kitz and family of Fish's Eddy, Mr. and Mrs. Wm Kitz and son of Mileses, Mr. and Mrs. Chas Heidt of Kenoza Lake, Mr. Andrew Gallagher, Rockaway Beach, L.
