transcription of Newspapers->Marriages->7.29.jpg From a local newspaper dated September 13, 1910 (some of the article is clipped ... the following transcription is the best I could do): BEGIN Hymeneal Dausher [sic] - Kitz [From our Lower Mongaup Valley Cor.] A pretty wedding with a Nuptial Mass was solemnized at St. Joseph's Church at Mongaup Valley Tuesday morning, Sep. 6, the contracting parties being Miss Anna, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Kitz of Mongaup Valley, and Mr. William Dausher [sic] of Sacket Lake, Rev. Father Mearns, pastor, officiating. The church was tastefully decorated for the occasion with palms, ? and potted plants. The bride was beautifully attired in a white ? dress. She wore a long bridal ? fastened with orange blossoms ? carried a white prayer book. The bridesmaids, the Misses Clara ? and Alvina Dausher, [sic] also wore ? with lilies of the valley. The groom and groomsmen, ? Mrs. Thomas F. Gallagher and ? Dausher [sic] wore the conventional ?. After the ceremony the bridal party with about seventy five relatives and friends returned to the bride's home, where an elaborate wedding breakfast was served; ? Dora Goff and Miss Kate Gla? being waitresses. The bride was one of Mongaup Valley's most estimable young la?. The groom is a carpenter, ? young man of sterling integrity. The best wishes of the community were extended to them on their journey through life. Out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kitz and family of Long Eddy, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. ? of Mileses, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. ? and family of Kenoza Lake, Mr. and Mrs. Gus Relaner and family of ? Lake.
