How you already know, the DECKELMANN's families are by profession bakers, butchers and innkeeper. The mill tenants and mill owners have interested me. In Obernburg a.Main and the neighbouring-town ELSENFELD there are the mills which carry the name "DECKELMANNS-MUHLE". According to an article in our home newspaper: In ELSENFELD Balthasar Deckelmann bought in May, 1887 a mill. In 1909 Balthasar Deckelmann bequeathed the mill to his son Anton. After the death of Anton the mill was continued by his wife Anna Deckelmann born Schlett. After their death Karl Deckelmann took over the property. Karl died in 1970 of a cardiac infarction. Since 1982 Reinhard Deckelmann is the owner of the mill. Aschaffenburger publishing house Main-Echo of 20.
