Gene D. Kille
January 12, 1940 - November 30, 2009
Gene D. Kille passed away November 30, 2009. He was 69 years of age. Gene
was born in Brookfield, Missouri and was one of 16 children. The family
moved to Grand Junction in 1951 and he graduated from Grand Junction
High School in 1958. Gene married Nancy McDaniel in 1959 and is survived
by his loving wife; son, Randy; daughter, Jana; six grandchildren; four
brothers and five sisters. Gene served in the U.S.  Army and the National
Guard and retired from Mare Island Naval ship yard in Vallejo, California
in 1994 after which he returned to Grand Junction.  Gene loved to play
Golf, work on old cars and help others. We were blessed to have him in
our lives. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and
friend. A memorial service will take place at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary
on Saturday, December 5th at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family
request that donations be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Western
Colorado 3090B North 12th Street, Grand Junction, Colorado, 81506.
