Published in the Ocala Star-Banner from 6/1/2008 - 6/2/2008. Ocala, FL KILLE, MARGARET VIRGINIA, 84 Beverly Hills - Margaret Virginia Kille died Saturday, May 31, 2008, in Lecanto, Fla. She was 84. Mrs. Kille was a resident of Beverly Hills, Fla., for 21 years, having moved there from Ocean City, N.J. She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother and grandmother, always putting her family first. A talented decorator, floral arranger and seamstress, she worked on projects that included presidential inaugurations, Miss America Pageant Parades and holiday displays at major shopping malls in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Mrs. Kille, who was born Nov. 18, 1923, grew up in Ocean City in a house on the Great Egg Harbor Bay; she knew the best place to fish on any tide and was the best powerboat handler in the family. She was the daughter of Morris and Olive Gerber. She was married to Robert T. Kille for 58 years. Her cooking and housekeeping were a source of justified pride. She enjoyed gardening and bird watching. In Beverly Hills, she was active in the Beverly Hills Community Church and was chairwoman of its Board of Deacons. She was a member of the Beverly Hills Surveillance. In Ocean City, she belonged to St. Peter's United Methodist Church, the Eastern Star and the Coast Guard Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband; two sons, Alvin S. Gerber of Sequim, Wash. and Dr. Robert M. Kille of Ocean City; a daughter, Susan Kille of New York City; four grandchildren, two great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
