  ...  The Robertsons, in Gaelic, are known as Clan Donnachaidh
(pronounced Donna-Key) (Children of Duncan), descendants of the hereditary
Abbots of Dunkeld.  The senior line of the kindred of Saint Columbia
and guardian of the Saint's relics.  Saint Columbia of royal blood,
known as the Apostle of Caledonia, came from Ireland in 563 A.D. to
bring Christianity to an island called Iona, located on the western
coast of Scotland.

  The Robertsons of Struan are descendants of the younger son of King
Duncan I, through the old Earls of Atholl.

  ...  Another interesting note is the Robertsons' tendency to have a congenital
malformation of the 5th fingers, called "crooked crannies."

The following is from a 1995 publication entitled "Loyalist Richard Robins"
by John William Taylor, Jr.  Found it in the New Jersey State Library.
It is very well documented; even mentions Sara's book.  Anyway, thought the
following would be of interest to the group.  "The Robinson and Robertsons
of Struan take their name from 'Grizzled Robert' Duncanson, 4th Chief of
the Clan Donnachaidh of Atholl.  They descend from Maelmare, the younger
son of King Duncan I.  The King was slain by his cousin Macbeth in 1040."

Found these on the net and wondering if information is accurate.  Seems many
of the descendnats on the site was Mullins and Vickery names.
