posted on njgf.groups.io BEGIN Re: Isaac Garrison several lots Nantuxent Neck 1800, from Abraham Sayre & Rachel, formerly James & Ruth Ogden's Jigs 10/20/13 There was an Isaac Garrison [indexed by Ancestry as Isaac Garretson, but it says Garrison in the abstract book] that died about 1795 in Downe Township. He made his will in 1784. Mentioned in the will according to the abstract is his wife Rachel and children Henry, Rachel Glassby (Glaspey?), Eunice Lake, Abraham, and Jeremiah. I have in my database that that Isaac was son of Henry and had a brother Henry that was alive in 1776. I got this from the uncle of Isaac, John Garrison's, will made 1776 in Downe Twp. "Brother Henry's two sons Isaac and Henry" - there's a typo on ancestry for the index that says it was made in 1766. John Garrison of Downs Twp, (Sept 3, 1776) wife Rebecca daughters: Sary, Nancy, Prudence, Jean, Elener brother Henry's 2 sons, Isaac an Henry, 50 acres on head of Bare Swamp, Gravely Run. -Andrea END
