From: "Fran King" Subject: RE: Coert LAKE Date: Wed, 17 Nov 1999 19:08:09 -0500 I have since learned that Coert and Salome were the parents of Daniel, Isaac, and Richard Lake (there may have been others. Isaac' descendant is a lady named Jane TenEyck of Colorado. We correspond quite often. She gave me pictures of many of the family plots at the Brick church cemetery in Rockland County. Richard and Dorcas Johnson Lake were the parents of Dr. Daniel Lake, Cortland Johnson Lake, John H. Lake (my great grandfather) and they had one daughter Mrs. Ezra Mead. Her first name may have been Hattie Uretta. There maybe more records for Coert and Salome in the Hackensach Dutch Reformed Church in, N. J. I hope this explains and corrects any mistakes I made in the earlier posting. -----Original Message----- From: Marshall Lake [mailto:mlake@melake.erols.com] Sent: Wednesday, November 10, 1999 11:32 AM To: Frances King Subject: Coert LAKE Hi Fran, I was going through some archive files on rootsweb.com and I found the following posted by you: ========================================================================= Date: Mon, 23 Nov 1998 00:20:26 -0500 To: Dutch-Colonies@rootsweb.com Subject: VANZANDT,LAKE,JOHNSON Coert Lake married Salome Vanzandt in Bergen,N.J., August 5,1789.
