Spragueville (formerly called "Sprague's Corners") is a small village situated in the extreme southern end of St. Lawrence County. Letter from Nettie Bailey says his birthplace was Fowler, NY.DEATH: Macomb, NY Vital Court Records. Cause of death was diabetes millitus MARR:Maryette Crawford per family letters, bible. NOTE: In Rebecca J. Closs Lake's pension application of May 1895, there is an affidavit from John Isaac saying that he is Daniel's brother and he has known Daniel's wife Rebecca since she was 2 or 3 years old. John states that he is 64 years old and a resident of Macomb, NY. NOTE: A census record for John Isaac for the year 1850 has not been found yet in the state of New York. There is one or two possibilities in the California census (gold miners) but the information is too vague to be of any certainty.
