Capt Lewis S. Tilton "lost at sea"

Here's a mystery: Atlantic County's Capt. Lewis S. Tilton (wife Caroline
Lake) disappeared in 1864 while master of schooner, H. R. Coggshall, of
Phila. but sailing to southern ports. His tombstone in Zion Cemetery, EHT,
Atlantic Co. says "lost at sea", Mar 1864. Attached is his wife's ad in Phila
paper inquiring about his whereabouts along with the names of the crew &
passengers on board, including Tilton's younger brother John R. Tilton &
E. Hildreth, (likely Ephraim Hildreth III of Rio Grande, CMC, who was a
young mariner then but lived till 1915). Any ideas on what became of the
other South Jersey Crew members or passengers?
