Lake to Nelson Abbott, David Dunham & Miller Kline, Comrs Know all men by these presents to that we Daniel M. lake of Somerset County New Jersey and John G. Lake of the township of Raritan in the County of Hunterdon and state of New Jersey have this day received of Nelson Abbott, David Dunham and Miller Kline the Commissioner appointed by the orphan's court of said County to divide the Real Estate of Evans G. Lake, deceased the sum of Eighty four dollars and forty cents being Forty two Dollars and twenty cents to each in payment of our distributive shares of the proceeds of the sale of the Real Estate of this said Evans G. Lake, deceased, Two hundred and fifty dollars and thirty three cents remaining in the hands of said Commissioners to be distributed among the heirs at law of said Evans G. Lake, deceased, on the death of Margaret the widow of said Evans G. Lake, deceased and Moses Lake, Daniel M. Lake, Sarah Gulick and William Gulick her husband, Elizabeth Mattison and John Mattison her husband, John G. Lake, Evans Lake, Joseph Lake and Isaac R. Lake. Take notice that the subscribers, who claim the equal undivided one ninth part of all that certain lot or tract of land and premises situate in the township of Raritan, in the County of Hunterdon, containing eight acres, of land more or less, adjoining lands of Jacob Wagoner, Hiram Hart and others, whereof Evans G. Lake died seized, will make application to the Orphans' Court of the County of Hunterdon, at the Court House in Flemington, on the Fourth day of December next at 10 o'clock, a. m., or as soon thereafter as the said application can be heard for the appointment of three disinterested Commissioners to divide the said real estate into nine equal shares or parts between the owners thereof. Margaret Lake, the widow of the said Evans G. Lake, dec'd being entitled to her dower in said real estate is hereby made a party to these proceedings to the end that the Court may make such order touching her dower as the statue in such case made and, provided, shall require.
