Joseph C. Kishbaugh was born in New Jersey, in 1805.  After moving to
several towns he finally settled at Eaton in 1850.  He was married in 1832
to Violetta, daughter of Sebastian Miller, of Philadelphia.  The father of
Mr. Kishbaugh was an old Revolutionary soldier.

[Ed Note - The last sentence above is an obvious error (since Joseph's father
wasn't born until 1778).  Maybe Joseph's grandfather was a soldier in the
Revolutionary War but not his father.  Perhaps the reference should have
been to Violetta Miller's father who did indeed serve in the Revolutionary
