Sudden Death
Anthony L. Case, an old and respectable citizen of this township, died very
suddenly of heart disease, on Thursday night of week before last.... Mr. Case
was 82 years of age.

Local Department
We had a pleasant call from our old friend Alanson Chamberlin, on Tuesday
last. He is one of the oldest subscribers to the Democrat; has reached
the age of 80 years. He has two sisters and one brother, all born in the
township of Amwell, according to its old boundaries. One is the widow
of Anthony L. Case, deceased, and the other the widow of Hiram Dilts,
deceased. Levi Chamberlin is the other brother. Mrs. Beulah Dilts is the
youngest child. These are the only living children in a family of seventeen.

At the residence of Asher Higgins, near Three Bridges, on Tuesday, the
13th day of September 1887, Mrs. Clarida Case, widow of Anthony L. Case,
deceased, in the 84 th year of her age.
