October 4, 1881, Forty-Fourth Volume, No. 7 Local Department We had a pleasant call from our old friend Alanson Chamberlin, on Tuesday last. He is one of the oldest subscribers to the Democrat; has reached the age of 80 years. He has two sisters and one brother, all born in the township of Amwell, according to its old boundaries. One is the widow of Anthony L. Case, deceased, and the other the widow of Hiram Dilts, deceased. Levi Chamberlin is the other brother. Mrs. Beulah Dilts is the youngest child. These are the only living children in a family of seventeen.
