    "Jacob Hill and Martha, his wife, were members of Tonoloway
    Church. They received baptism in August of 1827. Jacob was the son of
    the Revolutionary War soldied John Hill and his wife Mary, the daughter
    of John Fisher. Jacob Hill married Martha, daughter of Bethuel Covalt,
    Sr. of Bethel Township. Jacob and Martha Covalt Hill had at least
    five sons, two of whom have been identified. One of their sons was Job
    C. Hill, the father of Sheriff John Hill of FultonCounty. Another son,
    Isaiah Hill, went west."
