Higgins Kuhl, of Copper Hill, as a Missionary to Brazil. The young lady reached Rio Clara where she entered upon her labors with great ardor and efficiency. About a year ago she was removed to Sao Paulo were she has been engaged in a Training School. Her health failing from the great amount of work she performed during the past six years, Miss Kuhl had to apply for leave of absence, and will visit her home to recuperate her health and to confer with the Missionary Societies of this country. Kuhl, widow of the late Judiah Higgins Kuhl. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Wednesay, March 17th, at 2 P.M., at the Presbyterian Church, Flemington, N.J. Interment at Prospect Hill Cemetery. A kind, christian mother, a warm hearted neighbor and friend - Mrs. Catharine Y. Kuhl, widow of the late J. Higgins Kuhl, of Cooper Hill - died at her residence on Sunday last, after an illness of some six weeks. END Hunterdon Republican Flemington, NJ April 13 1866 BEGIN Lambert Bosenbury, living near Copper Hill, informs us that a cat belonging to his family recently died, which had been in the family for 24 years. It was bought from Judiah H. Kuhl in the latter part of 1841. This is the most aged "puss" we have ever heard of. END
