ca 1807 and had 3 ch:  Mary b. 1808; Elizabeth b. 1810 m. James McCracken;
Jacob Waldorf Lake, b. 1816 , 1st Margaret McCracken 2nd Phebe B. (Batson?)
McCracken, sister of the first wife.  The Peter m. 2nd Elizabeth Perlee/Parlee
on 25 Feb 1817.  It appears that Elizabeth Waldorf Lake died in giving
birth to my grgrgrandfather Jacob Waldorf Lake.  Source of 2nd marriage
Film#170677, pp. 740/1. I believe that this Elizabeth Perlee may have been
born 8 Mar 1803 and was therefore only 14 years old when she married.

This whole picture certainly explains Jacob's dysfunctional life as he
was raised by a 14-yr-old stepmother, his father married first at 19, and
then Jacob lost his first wife to childbirth and then married her sister.
He became the town drunk of Naughright before he died.  As far as I can
figure out, he owned what had been Garret Lake's land in Naughright---or
part of it at least.
