Obituary partial extract from Crittenden Press (KY), April 21, 2005 issue:

PADUCAH, Ky. ­ Ray Quertermous, 92, died April 18, 2005 at Western Baptist
Hospital. He was a member of the VFW in Paducah, was a World War II Army
veteran and was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are three sons, Kenneth, Wayne & David, all of Paducah; a
daughter Rayma Bradshaw; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren;
12 step-grandchildren; and 14 great-stepchildren.

He was preceded in death by six brothers; five sisters; his wife, Geraldine
Faye Quertermous; and his parents, Jasper and Nona Quertermous.

Services were April 19 at Boyd Funeral Chapel with Bro. Donnie McElmurray
officiating. Burial was in Good Hope Cemetery.
