He was a retired Secret Service Agent with the Treasury Department, and served as one of the Secret Service Agents at the White House for 25 years. During World War II, he was in charge of the Secret Service Detail that guarded Princess Martha of Norway. When she and her children were residing at Pook's Hill, Bethesda, Maryland. King Olaf of Norway awarded him the The Distinguished Medal of Honor for his services. Along with Robert L. May, R. W. King, Harry C. Shepherd, they were the first and only motorcycle agents to accompany President Woodrow Wilson. He served on the Metropolitan Police Force of Washington, DC, first as a traffic policeman, later being transferred to the motorcycle corps and then transferred to the Detail at the White House. In 1916 he received the Gold Medal from the Metropolitan Police Department, Washington, DC. Survivors include his widow, Doda L. PECK, a son Keneth E. and a brother Russell.
