(Thayne) Lee, 55, of 304 Montezuma Rd., Kingsport, Tenn., died unexpectedly at 8 p.m. Thursday at the Indian Path Hospital, Kingsport, Tenn. She is survived by her husband, Louis J. Lee, Kingsport, Tenn.; two daughters, Mrs. William (Maureen) Osborne, Kingsport, Tenn., Mrs. Eddie (Patricia) Flanary, Jonesboro, Tenn.; one son, Thomas J. Lee, Rochester; four grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Vincent (Loretta) Telfer, Durham, N.C.; one brother, Gerald Thayne, Johnson City; also several nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. Dominick's Church, Kingsport, Tenn. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.ma from the J. A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, and at 12:00 noon at St. Francis Xavier Church, Friendsville, Pa., where a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered. Burial will be in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Friendsville, Pa. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Rosary will be recited Sunday evening at 8 p.m. at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife, Mary Pat Lee; his children, Thomas and Carole Ann Lee, Rochester, Maureen and William Osborne, Rocky Mount, VA, Patricia and Eddie Flanary, Jonesborough, TN; stepchildren, Leo and Sally Race, David and Kara Race, Marie and Tom Rook, Karen Race; grandchildren, Terri and John Robson, Colleen and Shaun Murphy, Patrick and Ryan Osborne, Kevin and April, Jody and Mandy and Katie Flannery; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Joan Lee, Friendsville, PA. Lou served as a 1st Lt. in the US Army Air Corps during World War II and was a highly decorated P-51 Mustang fighter pilot serving in the South Pacific Theatre. He was a retiree of Eastman Kodak in Rochester and Tennessee Eastman in Kingsport, TN with 43 years of service. He was greatly loved and will be missed by his family.
