Note: Teenie O Weller, 94, Newburg, died Saturday morning, September 7, 1985
in her Hopewell Township home. Born July 1, 1891 in the Sipes Mill area of
Fulton County, she was the daughter of the late William H and Etta Mellott
Mellott. She was a member of Ridge Church of the Brethren and its Sunday
School's Women's Bible Class. A member of the Newburg senior citizens group,
she was well known in the area for her quilt making in support of Relief
programs and for her gardening. John L Weller, her husband, died in May
1970. Surviving are three sons, Bud O of Binghamton, NY and Erby L and Jay J,
both of Newburg; two daughters, Ruby O (Mrs Max) Stenger of McConnellsburg
and Chloe C (Mrs Warren) Zullinger of Newburg; 17 grandchildren; thirty-five
great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Also surviving is
Verna Wentling of Newsburg, who made her home with the Weller family for
many years. Services were held at 11 AM Tuesday, September 10 in Ridge
Church of the Brethren, Hopewell Township. The Rev John E Eash, Perry B
Liskey and K Hull Byers officiated. Burial was made in Ridge Cemetery. The
Fogelsanger Funeral Home in Shippensburg was in charge of arrangements.
