Franklin James Wagner, 27, was admitted in an unconscious condition to Chambersburg Hospital for treatment of head and thigh injuries after his rig was demolished. Former Gov. William W. Scranton has named a Hustontown resident, J. Robert Cutchall, as chairman of the 1970 Citizens for Scott, Brodercik, Scalera Committee in Fulton County. Sgt. Malcolm Ray Foster, formerly of Wells Tannery and Saxton, was fatally injured on Saturday in a head-on automobile accident at El Paso, Texas. Foster, a son of C.C. and Marjorie (Buckley) Foster of Wells Tannery, died at the William Beaumont General Hospital in El Paso. A career man in the Army, Sgt. Foster was en route to his home in El Paso from Fort Bliss at the time of the fatality. He had been in the service for 17 years. Mrs. Ethel Decker and Mrs. Frances Reed recently returned home from a European tour, during which they visited Holland, Germany, Italy and Switzerland. Dr. and Mrs. Robert Riggs spent the weekend in Somerset where his father is seriously ill in the hospital. Mrs. James H. Shultz keeps record of the rainfall from a rain gauge in her backyard. Over Saturday and Sunday, the gauge showed that 2.7 inches of rain had fallen in Mc- Connellsburg, most of it on Saturday night.
