He is survived by his wife, Mary Thayne, Johnson City; three daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and David Himko, Colleen Thayne, and Sharon and William Camay, all of Johnson City; three grandchildren, Mary Jane Camay, Andrew Camay, and Robert Sample, Johnson City; a sister, Loretta Telfer, North Carolina; also several nieces and nephews. He was a member of St. James Church, Johnson City, and a retired employee of Crowley Foods. Funeral services will be held at the J.F. Rice Funeral Home, Inc., 150 Main St., Johnson City, Saturday at 9 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. at St. James Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. (DeFelice) Thayne, 70, of 16 Jay St., died Thursday afternoon, July 6, 1989, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband, Gerald Thayne, in December, 1988. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and David Himko, Johnson City, (Cutting Block Beauty Salon), Colleen Thayne, Johnson City, Sharon and William Camay, also of Johnson City; two grandsons, Robert P. Sample and Andrew Camay; a granddaughter, Mary Camay; a sister, Anne Mastroianni, Endicott; and also several nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. James Church, Johnson City, a retired employee of the GAF Corp., and was a grade mother for St. Stan's School in Binghamton, and was also a Bingo Worker in St. Stanislaus Church. Mastroianni, 95, of Endicott, passed away Monday, March 22, 2010, at Absolute Care of Endicott. She was predeceased by her husband, Pasquale (Patsy) Mastroianni; her parents, Anthony and Josephine DeFelice; her brothers, Michael, Americo, Pat, Albert and Henry DeFelice; her sisters, Emily Veruto, Mary Thayne and Filomena Randesi. She is survived by her son, Anthony Mastroianni; 2 grandsons, Bryan (Michelle) Mastroianni, Eric Mastroianni; 3 great-grandchildren, Richard, Elayna and Joseph Mastroianni; also several loving and devoted nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Endicott, and a retired employee of Endicott Johnson. She was also a former employee of Lander Co. in Binghamton. She enjoyed 25 years of involvement in the Broome Community Foster Grandparent Program at St. Anthony's School, where she was fondly known as "Grandma Ann". She also enjoyed the many talks and get-togethers with her special friends and neighbors, sipping coffee around her kitchen table. A special thank you to the Absolut Care staff for their kindness during her stay. Funeral services will be held Friday, 9:30 a.m. from the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, Inc., 1905 Watson Blvd., Endicott, and at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church, where a Funeral Mass will be offered by the Rev. She is now in the arms of her loving parents, Mr. & Mrs. Gerald Thayne. She is survived by two sisters, Linda and David Himko and Sharon and William Camay, all of Johnson City, a niece, Mary Camay and family of Vestal, two nephews and their families Robert and Jessica Briggs Sample of Binghamton and Andrew and Stephanie Camay of New York. She was a graduate of Johnson City High School and an employee of Marine Midland Bank. At her request there will be [no] calling hours.
