Press & Sun-Buttetin Binghamton, NY 27 Apr 2016 BEGIN Franklin Robbins, 90, of Clarks Summit, PA, passed away peacefully at his home in Clarks Summit, PA on April 25, 2016. He was born in Quakertown, PA on December 29, 1925 to the late Edward K. and Ethel H. (Collins) Robbins. He was predeceased by his wife, Jessie (Maybury) Robbins. He is survived by his four children and their spouses, Gary E. Robbins and wife Carol, Pittsburgh, PA, David F. and Ellen Robbins, Kingsley, PA, Ruth E. Harrison, Kingsley, PA, Glenn W. and Rosanne Robbins, Clarks Summit, PA, nine grandchildren, great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter, Lois Cynthia Redman, brother, Isaac, and sister, Edna. Franklin was a WWII Army Veteran serving in both theatres. He was part of the occupation of the Philippines and Japan. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 28, 2016 at the Universalist Church of Brooklyn with the Rev. Lucas Taylor officiating. Visitations will be on Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home, Montrose, PA. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Brooklyn, PA. END
