Trenton Times Trenton, NJ 02/01/99 BEGIN Eva Danberry Lake BRANCHBURG -- Eva "Evvie" Danberry Lake, 93, died Friday at Foothill Acres Nursing Home, Hillsborough Township. Born in Hillsborough Township, she was a lifelong area resident. She retired from the Somerset County Administration Building, Somerville, in 1977, and worked at Case's Confectionary Store, Neshanic Station, during the 1940s. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, reading and telling stories. Daughter of the late Edward Nathan and Margaret Grey Danberry, and wife of the late Edward Lake, she is survived by three daughters, Lorlyn Covert of Neshanic Station, Margaret Emery of Bedford, Va., and Janice Cromen of Pittsburgh; a sister, Gertrude Layton of Hillsborough Township; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren. Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Neshanic Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Hubert's Giralda Animal Shelter, 3201 Highway 22, North Branch, N.J. Arrangements are by Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, Flemington. END
