Boock Sr., 83, entered into eternal life Tuesday (Oct. 18, 2005) at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. Born in Hazleton, Pa., son of the late Jacob and Flora (Kishbach) Boock, he had lived in Hazleton before settling to Manville in 1948. Harold was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army after faithfully serving his country during World War II as a Tec 4. In 1984, he retired from Johns-Manville as a general laborer in E building. Harold was a member of the Johns-Manville Quarter Century Club and American Legion Post 304 in Manville. In Harold's spare time, he enjoyed spending quality time with his loving family. Besides his parents, Harold was predeceased by his beloved wife, Mildred E. (Johnson) Boock, who passed away April 22, 2000; and his dear brother and three loving sisters. Surviving Harold are his devoted children; son, Harold W. Boock Jr. of Manville and daughter, Cathy Franzoso of Hillsborough. He also leaves behind his dear sisters, Theda Parsons of McAdoo, Pa., and Lucille Shearer of Manville; and a brother, Walter Boock of Hazleton, Pa. His four dear grandchildren and two great-granddaughters will miss him dearly. The funeral service will begin 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Fucillo and Warren Funeral Home, 205 S. Main St., Manville. Harold will be laid to rest beside his wife at Mt. Laurel Memorial Park in Hazleton, Pa. Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, and from 9 a.m. until the service time, Saturday at the funeral home.
