David Clampitt Is Buried At Warren

Death Occurred Saturday At The Home Of A Daughter At Marion

An illness of more than one year, resulted late Saturday in the death
of David A. Clampitt, 74, a resident of Huntington county most of his
life. Death occurred at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Dwight Weaver, 1208
Spencer avenue, Marion.

Funeral services were held this afternoon at Warren and were in charge of
Rev. J. B. Work, a former pastor there.

Born near Warren, April 27, 1857, Mr. Clampitt spent his life on a farm near
there until several years ago when he retired. His wife died two years ago
as the couple was preparing to celebrate their golden wedding anniversary.

Two children, Mrs. Weaver and Mrs. Joseph A. Duchesne, Detroit, and three
grandchildren survive.
