sister Grace Hagaman. May Belle Frey intended to be buried in Bloomsbury in
her parents' plot. She attended the Bloomsbury School. She married Edward
D. Frey, b. February 19, 1863, Arcadia, Wayne County, NY; d. November 08,
1929, San Diego, San Diego County, California. He was first married to
Lucy Pixley in 1898. She died in 1899. Children: a son Leslie Frey and a
daughter Mrs. Jessie E. Jones of Olympia, Washington.

Edward D. Frey moved away from the Wayne County, New York area sometime
after 1880, and on May 1, 1898, he married Lucy Harriett Pixley, the
daughter of Eben Pixley and Emily Abi Seely, in North Bend, King County,
Washington. Lucy lived only one more year and died from tuberculosis at the
age of 25 years on November 18, 1899 in Valley Springs, Minnehaha County,
South Dakota. Edward lived for some time in Seattle, then by 1905 he moved
on to Oregon and by 1925, he had moved to San Diego, CA., where he resided
at 4535 Iowa Street with his second wife, May Belle Hagaman Frey. He died
November 8, 1929 of heart disease at the age of 66 years. The funeral was
conducted at the Merkley Funeral Home in San Diego and he was cremated at
Greenwood Crematory on November 12, 1929. San Diego, Cal., Saturday November
9, 1929 FREY-Nov. 8, 1929. Edward D. Frey, husband of May Belle Frey;
father of Mrs. Jessie E. Jones of Olympia, Wash and Leslie Frey. Edward
Frey was a native of New York, aged 66 years. Friends are invited to
attend the funeral services, Tuesday, Nov. 12, at 10 a.m. at Merkley's
Funeral Parlors, 3655 Fifth Avenue. Cremation: Greenwood Crematory. Father:
Adam Frey; Birthplace:Germany; Mother: Christina Newsbickle; Birthplace:
Germany. Edward Frey worked as a truck driver. At one time, he owned three
ranches in the State of Washington.
