KEWANEE, IL - John R. Cronau, 49, of Kewanee, died at 10:10 AM, Tuesday,
June 3, 2008 at his home.

Cremation has been accorded. Graveside services will be at 10:30
a.m. Monday in Pleasant View Cemetery. Rux Funeral Home is in charge of
arrangements. Memorials may be directed to the family for a memorial to
be established.

John was born June 30, 1958 in Kewanee, son of Willis J. and Marjorie
T. (Turnbull) Cronau. Survivors include one brother, Steve (Debbie) Cronau
of Raleigh, NC, one sister, Debbie Kirley of Princeton, two nieces, Beth
Cronau of Raleigh, NC and Becky (Dennis) Clementz of Geneseo and one nephew,
John H. Cronau of Raleigh, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents.

John graduated from Kewanee High School in 1976 and from the University of
Illinois with a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture. He also furthered his
education and achieved enough credits to obtain the equivalent to a Master's
Degree. He had been employed as an architect in Peoria and Chicago. After
returning to Kewanee John worked for Jensen Construction and later as a
carpenter locally. His hobbies included woodworking and carpentry.
