Robert Godown, 86, of Middlesex, NJ passed away Monday in Robert Wood
Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ. He was born May 26,
1929 in Riegelsville, PA, a son of the late Theodore and Theresa Bill
Godown. He was last employed as a business manager for the Government
Supply Agency. Prior to that he worked in a management position for the
Gulf Oil Company and as an insurance agent for Prudential. His hobby was
photography and he enjoyed fishing. Robert is an Air Force Veteran of the
Korean War. He is survived by his granddaughter, Bess Goden. He was preceded
in death by his wife, Nancy, his son Craig Goden, and eleven brothers and
sisters. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, June 11,
at 1 p.m. in St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Riegelsville, PA 18077. Friends
may call at the church Thursday from 12:30 to 1 p.m. Memorial contributions
may be made to the church.
