She is survived by her parents, John D. and Lois (Robbins) Thayne, Chenango Bridge; her sister, Mary Ann Thayne, Binghamton; her grandfather, Herbert Robbins, Binghamton; her godmother and aunt, Mrs. Edward (Marie) Thayne, Vestal; many aunts, uncles, cousins and very close friends including Peg Guiton. She was predeceased by her godfather, Edward J. Thayne. She was a member of St. Christopher's Church and graduated in June of 1988 from Chenango Valley High School and was to attend Bryant and Stratton Business Institute, Syracuse, NY in the Fall. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:45 a.m. at the Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home Inc., 137 Robinson St., Binghamton and at 11:30 a.m. at St. Christopher's Church. He was predeceased by his daughter, Bernadette Lois Thayne in 1988; a brother, Edward "Eddie" Thayne; and a sister, Alma HanCharik. He was born September 28, 1913 in E. Orange, N.J. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Lois Robbins Thayne, Chenango Bridge; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann Thayne and William Lillie, Lisle; two sisters-in-law, Marie Thayne, Windsor, Kathleen O'Connor, Binghamton; special, little people, Roman, Zenzi, and Kazio; a special cousin who was like a sister, Peg Guiton, Binghamton; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
