From Mary Canzler : BEGIN Binghamton Press, 16 November 1953 [Binghamton, NY] Myron Chrisfield Dies in Hospital Binghamton Press Bureau Owego - Myron E. Chrisfield, 60, Halsey Valley farmer, died in the Tioga General Hospital in Waverly yesterday morning. A resident of Halsey Valley for 30 years, Mr. Chrisfield was born in North Barton Aug. 24, 1893, the son of George B. Chrisfield and the late Fannie Kishpaugh Chrisfield. He was a member and past master of the Halsey Valley Grange 1318 and a member of the Spencer RoKi Club. The body was removed to the Richards Funeral Home in the Tioga District where friends may call tonight from 8 to 10 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home Tuesday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Judd L. Hunter, pastor of the North Waverly Chapel, will officiate. Burial will be in Halsey Valley Cemetery. Besides his father, Mr. Chrisfield is survived by his wife, Mrs. Stella Barber Chrisfield; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Serra of Lockwood; a son, Howard Chrisfield of Halsey Valley; a step-daughter, Mrs. Ruby Seymour of Tonawanda; two stepsons, Floy Avis of Binghamton and Orlo Avis of Kingsport, Tenn; a brother H. Edward Chrisfield of Gilbertsville and three grandchildren, Lillian and David Serra and Agnes Chrisfield. END
