From the Daily Record, Parsippany, New Jersey dated March 7, 2008: BEGIN Charles Moyes 86, great-grandfather, veteran MOUNT JACKSON, Va. -- Charles Moyes died on Wednesday, March 5, 2008, at home in Mount Jackson, Va. He was 86. He was born in Wharton on Jan. 4, 1922, to the late John V. Moyes and the late Bertha Kishpaugh. He was an Army paratrooper in World War II and later worked as a television repairman. He was a member of Otterbein Chapel United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth W. Moyes; daughters, Patricia Schmid of Arlington, Wis., Dorothy Singer of Baraboo, Wis., and Elizabeth Wagi of Fort Atkinson, Wis.; sons, Richard Moyes of Louisville, Ky., Charles Moyes of Helenville, Wis., and Clifford Moyes of Horicon, Wis.; 25 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Sunday from 7-8 p.m. at Valley Funeral Chapel, Bowmans Crossing. Services will be held on Monday, March 10 at 11 a.m. at Otterbein Chapel United Methodist Church with the Rev. W. Glen Early officiating. Interment will be on Tuesday at 3 p.m. in Rest Land Memorial Park, East Hanover. END From the Daily Record, Parsippany, New Jersey dated May 2, 2012: BEGIN Elizabeth "Betty" Moyes AGE: 90 - DeForest, WI Elizabeth "Betty" Moyes, age 90, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Good Samaritan Society in Lodi. She was born on August 29, 1921, in Newark, NJ, the daughter of John and Anna (Roth) Weaver. Betty graduated from Madison High School in Madison, NJ. She married Charles Moyes on March 22, 1942 at Madison Methodist Church, NJ. Betty and Charles lived in Lake Parsippany, NJ from 1951 - 1986 and attended Parsippany Methodist Church. Betty was a secretary for Lakeland Christian School, Wharton. They retired and moved to Mount Jackson, VA. After Charles' death on March 5, 2008, she relocated to DeForest, WI to be near her family. Betty is remembered for her love of God, birds, travel and her family. Betty is survived by her children, Patricia Schmid of DeForest, Richard Moyes of Louisville, KY, Charles Alan (Ella) Moyes of Helenville, WI, Clifford J. Moyes of Horicon, WI, Dorothy Ellen (Kermit) Singer of Baraboo, WI and Elizabeth Jane (Joe) Wagi of Ft. Atkinson, WI; 25 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles; daughter, Margaret Ann; and brother, Elroy Weaver.
