When Mary H. Lindabury and Robert Greenslade Spear met Mary was 36 and
the mother of four children.  Robert was 20.  Robert came from a wealthy
family who threatened to disown him if he married Mary.  Mary disappeared
but Robert hired a Private Investigator and found Mary in Edmonton, Canada.
Robert and Mary were married in Edmonton on June 26, 1922.  Robert was
disenherited.  On their marriage certificate Mary was shown as a 30 year
old spinster (she was 36 and the mother of four) and Robert was shown as 25
(he was actually 20).
