Nelson Leon TROUT was born 7 Apr 1928 in Millville, Millville Twp, Cumberland,
NJ, the son of John Nelson TROUT (1908-1978) and Dorothy M. CASSABOON
(1909-1999).

NELSON L. TROUT, 65, of Millville, died suddenly Wednesday at South Jersey
Hospital System, Millville Division.

Before his retirement in 1989, he had worked with Airwork Corp. for 37
years. Mr. Trout was very active in Little League and Babe Ruth baseball,
serving as manager and coaching all three of his sons. In 1946, he received
the Naismith Award for the outstanding high school basketball player in
southern New Jersey.

Mr. Trout was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War. Born in Millville,
he was a lifelong resident. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis (Ash);
three sons, Nelson of Millville, the Rev. Kevin Trout of York, Pa., and Jeff
of Millville; his mother, Dorothy of Millville; a sister, Shirley Boyle of
Millville; and seven grandchildren.  Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday
at Barbetti Funeral Home, 2104 E. Main St., Millville. Burial will be in
Greenwood Memorial Park, Millville.

Friends may call at the funeral home 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday. Contributions
may be made to the American Heart Association, 600 White Horse Pike, Audubon
08106; or the Bible Baptist Church, 1550 E. 11th Ave., York, Pa. 17402.

Wife of Nelson Leon TROUT (1928-1994)

Phyllis H. Trout, 77, of Millville, passed away peacefully at the South Jersey
Healthcare-Regional Medical Center, with her family at her side. Mrs. Trout
was retired as a head chef for the Millville School system's cafeteria
for over 35 years. Every summer was spent in Fortescue, where she enjoyed
the beach and the bay. She also enjoyed dining out and going to the movies
with her girl friends. Her greatest love were her grandchildren, whom she
supported by attending all of their different activities, and also spending
quality time with them. Her bestest buddy was her beloved dog, Gabe.

She is survived by three sons: Nelson and wife Susan of Millville, Kevin
and wife Jean of Etters, Pa., and Jeff and wife Debbie of Millville: 7
grandchildren: Dana Marie, Justin, Nicky, John, Teal, Tyler and Michael:
2 great grandchildren: Kevin and Alyssa. Mrs. Trout was pre-deceased by
her husband, Nelson.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the ROCAP SHANNON
MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME.  Viewings will be held on Tuesday evening from 7to
9 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial will follow in
