transcription of Newspapers->Deaths->3.365.jpg From The Morning Press, Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania dated October 6, 1965: BEGIN Sterling Kishbaugh Of Briggsville Dies Sterling Kishbaugh, sixty-three Briggsville, was pronounced dead on arrival Monday night at 6:30 at Berwick Hospital, after he was striken while visiting at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Mowery, Briggsville. He was born in Berwick, and spent most of his life in the Hobbie and Nescopeck Township area. He had been employed at the Luzerne Hide and Tallow Company, of Briggsville, for 28 years, retiring in 1964 due to ill health. He was a member of the Mt. Zion United Church of Christ, of Briggsville. His wife, the former Sarah Haupt, of Chippewa Falls, Wis., died three years ago. Surviving are three sons, Sterling Kishbaugh, Jr., Zenith; Harry D. Kishbaugh, Briggsville; Edward Kishbaugh, Berwick; three daughters, Mrs. Herbert Mowery, Briggsville; Mrs. Lester Ruth, Berwick; Mrs. Ray Dawson, Hobbie; two brothers, George Kishbaugh, Royersford; Harry E. Kishbaugh, Briggsville; two sisters, Mrs. Fred Bower, Briggsville and Mrs. Lynn Haupt, [sic] Corning, N.Y. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at two o'clock at the Cragle Funeral Home, Hobbie, with the Rev. Richard Siegfried, pastor on [sic] the Briggsville United Church of Christ, officiaitng. [sic] Burial will be in the Mt. Zion cemetery, at Briggsville. END
