Kishbaugh, 74, of Briggsville, Nescopeck R.D.1, a retiree of P.L. Lawton Trucking Company, died Monday at 11:05 a.m. at the Bloomsburg Hospital. He was ill for two years. A lifelong resident of Briggsville, he was born Aug. 18, 1911, a son of the late Elmer and Daisy Slusser Kishbaugh. Mr. Kishbaugh retired 15 years ago from the P.L. Lawton Trucking Comapny Inc., Berwick. He previously worked as a truck driver for the former Luzerne Hide and Tallow Company, Briggsville. He also operated his own farm for many years. Mr. Kishbaugh was a former Nescopeck Township supervisor and committeeman. He was a member of the Mount Zion United Church of Christ, Briggsville. Two brothers, Sterling and George Kishbaugh, and a sister, Anna Bower, died previously. Surviving are his wife, the former Evelyn Wenner, with whom he celebrated a 50th wedding anniversary on June 14; a son, Wilbur Kishbaugh, Briggsville; three grandchildren; and a sister, Creola Haupt, Corning, N.Y. Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. from Heller Funeral Home, Nescopeck, with the Rev. Paul W. Cope, his pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge. END
