Kishbaugh, Of Berwick, Dies Dale Ernest Kishbaugh, twenty-nine, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie L. Kishbaugh, Lincoln avenue, Berwick, died yesterday afternoon at three-thirty o'clock at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital where he had been a patient for the past three weeks. He was born in Briar Creek township and lived in Berwick most of his life. He had worked in the maintenance department of the ACF, Berwick, and was a member of the Reformed Church, Berwick, and of the Eagles Lodge. Surviving are his father and mother and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Claude Oliver, Berwick; Mrs. Edwin Laubach, Berwick; Doyle, Berwick; Verncil, Berwick; Shirley, Warren; Mrs. Oscar Welsh, Jr., Berwick; Charlotte, at home. Funeral services will be held at the Kelchner funeral home, Berwick, Friday afternoon at two o'clock. Rev. Wayne Lutz, Reformed Church, will officiate. Kishbaugh, seventy, 1619 Lincoln avenue, Berwick, died at Berwick Hospital last night at eight o'clock. He had been a patient in the hospital for two days. Born in Foundryville, he lived his entire life in the Berwick area. An employee in the Soft Foundry of ACF Industries, he retired six years ago. He had Mrs. Kishbaugh had been married for 54 years. The deceased was a member of the Bethany EUB Church. Surviving are his wife, the former Ruth Bower; five daughters, Mrs. Claude (Ada) Oliver, Mrs. Carl (Shirley) Gordner, Mrs. Charlotte Kinney, all of Berwick; Mrs. Elva Laubach, Foundryville; Mrs. Oscar (Nora) Welsh, Briar Creek; two sons, Doyle, Berwick Heights and Venrcil, Berwick; two sisters, Mrs. John Cleaver, and Mrs. Earith Spencer and one brother, Sheldon, all of Berwick; seventeen grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held Monday at ten-thirty a.m. from the Kelchner Funeral Home, Berwick, with Rev. William H. Marshall, Berwick Baptist Church, officiating. Kishbaugh Active at Berwick's Bethany United Methodist Ruth F. Kishbaugh, 90, of 1619 Lincoln Ave., Berwick, an active member of the Bethany United Methodist Church, died Monday morning at 7:40 at the Berwick Hospital Center, where she had been a patient for two days. She had been a guest at the Klingerman Nursing Center in Orangeville for the past year, and had been in failing health for four years. Born June 6, 1897, in Foundryville, she was a daughter of the late Ernest O. and Ada Fenstemaker Bower. Her husband, Leslie L. Kishbaugh, died on April 25, 1968. Also dying previously were two children, Mrs. Ada Oliver and Dale Kishbaugh; a sister, Mrs. Lulu Boston; a brother, Elmer Brown; a grandson, Jeffrey Lee Kishbaugh; and a great-grandson, Benjamin David Gordner. Mrs. Kishbaugh was a member of the Bethany United Methodist Church, Berwick, and the Sunshine Sunday School class for many years. She lived on Berwick's Lincoln Avenue for 47 years. She is survived by six children: Mrs. Elva Laubach, Berwick; Doyle L. Kishbaugh, Berwick; Verncil L. Kishbaugh, Berwick; Mrs. Carl L. (Shirley L.) Gordner, Berwick; 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Catherine Moore, formerly of Wilkes-Barre. Services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. from the Kelchner-Hindman Funeral Home, 119-121 E. Third St., Berwick, with the Rev. E. Luke Carlson, her pastor, officiating.
