BEGIN

Orval B. Kishbaugh, of Jonestown, who was taken ill one week ago while
working at the A.C.F. plant, died at Berwick hospital Sunday night. Mr.
Kishbaugh had previously been ill and had returned to work. He was taken
by fellow workmen to his home where his condition became more serious and
on Thursday he was brought to the hospital. A complication of diseases was
the cause of death at the age of 57 years.

Mr. Kishbaugh was born in Foundryville and resided there until he went to
Jonestown where he purchased a property near the high school building.

A son, Meldon, was listed to leave from Berwick with yesterday's contingent
of selectees for the Army.

There are surviving his wife and ten children:  Mrs. Charles Rhone,
Shickshinny R.D.3, Mrs. Edward Zimmerman, Shickshinny R.D.3, Mrs. Arthur
Albertson, Stillwater; Lester, of Shickshinny R.D.3; Earl of Stillwater,
R.D; Joseph, Meldon, Ivan and Norma at home.

There are three brothers and four sisters, Sheldon Kishbaugh, of Tenth
street, Berwick; Mrs. Henry Carlburg, Berwick; Mrs. Jack Cleaver, Berwick;
Mrs. Reuben Samsel, Stone Church, Jack Kishbaugh of Watsontown; Leslie
Kishbaugh of North Berwick and Mrs. Joseph Shultz of Benton.

Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at two o'clock from the
late home with short services. Followed by services at the Methodist church
at Jonestown. Burial will be made in the adjoining cemetery.

Bessie Kishbaugh
  Mrs. Bessie M. Kishbaugh, 83, of Orangeville R. D. 2, died at 3:45
a.m. Sunday in the Char-Mund Nursing Home, Orangeville, where she had been
a guest for eight months.  She had been in failing health for the past
several years.
  She was born in Fishingcreek township, and resided in the Jonestown area her
entire life.  She was the daughter of the late Aaron and Harriet White Hess.
  She was a member of the Jonestown United Methodist Church.
  She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville B. Kishbaugh, on
Mar. 14, 1943.  Nine of her sixteen children also preceded her in death.
  Surviving are Lester K. Kishbaugh, Southdale, Shickshinny R. D. 3;
Mrs. Glayds [sic] Zimmerman, Shickshinny; Mrs. Arthur E. (Ethel) Albertson,
with whom she had resided at Orangeville R. D. 2; Joseph E. Kishbaugh, at
home; Carl R. Kishbaugh, Berwick; Ivan D. Kishbaugh, Stillwater R. D. 1;
Mrs. Herbert (Norma) Eroh, Hackettstown, N.J.; 29 grandchildren, 35
great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
  Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at two from the Dean
W. Kriner Inc. Funeral Home, Benton, with the Rev. William O. Andes, Jr.,
pastor of the Jonestown United Methodist Church, officiating.  Burial will
be in the Jonestown cemetery.

Joseph E. Kishbaugh
Retired from former Cherry Hill Farms
  Joseph E. "Joe" Kishbaugh, 72, of Orangeville R.R.2, died at 2:25
a.m. Monday, July 20, 1998, at the Bonham Nursing Center, Register, where
he had lived since July 3.
  Born April 18, 1926, at the home where he lived until July 3, he was a
son of the late Orville and Bessie Hess Kishbaugh.
  He graduated from the former Fishingcreek High School.
  Kishbaugh had been employed at the former AC&F Industries, Berwick;
Magee Carpet Co., Bloomsburg; PennDOT; and the former Cherry Hill Farms,
from where he retired.
  He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
  The following siblings died previously:  Harriett Rhone, Norma Eroh,
Virtue Kishbaugh, Gladys Zimmerman, Madeline Kishbaugh, twins Dean and Derl
Kishbaugh, and Earl, Lester, Charles and Meldon Kishbaugh.
  Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Arthur (Ethel) Albertson, with whom he
lived; and two brothers:  Carl Kishbaugh, Berwick; and Ivan Kishbaugh,
Stillwater R.R.1.
  Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Heller Funeral Home,
Nescopeck, with the Rev. Leon Scholl, Orangeville United Methodist Charge,
officiating.  Burial will be in the Jonestown Cemetery.
