Kishbaugh Sr. Was state game protector for 32 years Clifford M. "Steve" Kishbaugh Sr., 68, Berwick R.R.4, died Monday at 4:10 a.m. at the Berwick Hospital Center. He had been ill since Dec. 7. Born in Summerhill on April 11, 1922, he was the son of the late Edward W. and Linna I. Bower Kishbaugh. He lived most of his life in rural Berwick and attended Berwick schools. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Kishbaugh had worked at the former AC&F Industry, Berwick, until the plant closed. He worked at Berwick Industries for 26 years, retiring in 1988. He served as a Pennsylvania deputy game protector for 32 years. For many years he operated his own farm. Surviving are his wife, the former Bertha O.Neal, with whom he celebrated their 48th anniversary Dec. 12; seven children: Clifford M. "Steve," Kishbaugh Jr., Woodin Kishbaugh and Ernest Kishbaugh, all of Berwick R.R.4; Joan Snyder, Bloomsburg; Maryellen Lauer and Kerry Kishbaugh, both of Berwick; Brian Kishbaugh, Nescopeck, and ? grandchildren. Also surviving are four sisters: Mrs. Jack (Shirley) Kemper; Mrs. Malvin (Lula) Shultz and Mrs. Paul (Josephine) Brown, all of Berwick R.R.4; Mrs. John (Betty) Lemon, Beach Haven; and a brother, Harry Kishbaugh, Berwick R.R.4. Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. from the Heller Funeral Home, Nescopeck, with the Rev. Kerry P. Maurer, St. Luke Lutheran Church, Lightstreet, officiating. Burial will be in Garrison Memorial Cemetery, Berwick R.R.4. END
