Kishbaugh Berwick Ind. retiree enjoyed hunting, fishing Harry R. Kishbaugh, 69, of 178 Varner Hollow Road, Berwick, died Tuesday evening, Oct. 21, 2003, at Geisinger Medical Center, where he had been a patient for one week, He had been in failing health since August. Mr. Kishbaugh was born on Nov. 10, 1933 in Salem Township. He was a son of the late Edward and Linna Bower Kishbaugh. Mr. Kishbaugh served in the U.S. Army in the 1950s, stationed in Germany and France. He retired in 1997 from Berwick Industries, now Berwick Offray, Berwick, where he designed and built machinery for the company. He had worked for over 44 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers: Woodin Kishbaugh, William Kishbaugh, Clifford Kishbaugh and Donald Kishbaugh and two sisters: Josephine Brown and Shirley Kemper. He and his wife, the former Janice Thomas, originally of Wapwallopen, celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary on June 23. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Sherri A. Kishbaugh, at home; two sisters: Mrs. John (Betty) Lemon, of Beach Haven; Mrs. Lula Schultz, rural Berwick; and two sisters-in-law: Isabelle Bower, rural Berwick; and Betty Buge, Erie. He also leaves behind his dog, Rex. Funeral services for Mr. Kishbaugh will be held Sarurday at 11 a.m. from the James L. Hinckley Jr. Funeral Home, 1024 Market St., Berwick. Burial will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Walnut St., Berwick.
